Everyday Tulle

Tulle

Last night we made ballet tutus for my friend Melissa’s wedding party……. and it re-affirmed my love affair for tulle! Yes, I know I have dedicated a previous post to the same subject, but I figured it deserved another. This time round, I was inspired to find ways to wear it out & about daytime style. My internet dig did not disappoint. Can’t wait to try out one of these tulle versions myself.

As for our tulle skirts (as per picture below) required NO SEWING! and was probably the easiest thing in the world to make – can’t wait to see them on the little flower girls.

Here’s some inspiration for getting tulle-vibe on for the new week.

Bargain Betty landed a Big Fish

Cheap Anthropologie

Everyone loves a bargain. Well, only thing to trump that would be getting Anthropologie furniture at Bargain Betty prices. But, believe it or not, it is not just a fantasy, it actually does exist. Yip, you heard right – ANTRHOPOLOGIE. The same store my husband banned me from entering –  for once inside, I turn into a shopping beast –  I. WANT. EVERYTHING.

Whoever said money can’t buy happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping.

                                                                                                                                      -Bo Derek

So who would have thought that a sleepy little southern town such as Augusta, Georgia could deliver da goods? Not in my wildest dreams! But yes, miracles do happen and honestly, this is a big one!

The warehouse is filled to the brim with Anthropologie & Urban Outfitters goodies – clothes, small interior finds and furniture. Some of the goodies are shop soiled, but nothing that a good handyman can’t fix. The trick is to go often – the stock changes on a weekly basis so frequent trips are a necessity. Best tip is to ‘like’ their facebook page, to make sure you’re up-to-date with the latest delivery-of-goodness……. So pricing – what to expect? on average, a third cheaper than list price. That is really, really insane, if you ask me. I suggest you get the nose of your vehicle (preferable a truck!) pointed in their direction. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

These are some of the goodies I’ve spotted there……… To many to list, the internet might just fall over…….
